This is the best robot on the market when we talk about great mopping. It cleans spotless. One thing I find strange though is that the freo mode constantly detects dirt even when the area is clean so it would return a few times to the same spot to clean it until it decides it's clean. The first time we left it do that with the kitchen and it cleaned it for 2 hours (25 square meters).So you better turn off that function. It also consumes a lot of water, but it's worth it as it washes the mops to complete whiteness. We have a dog and a cat, plus I have long hair. Our previous robot needed everyday cleaning and checking, and this one we check once per week. The hair doesn't tangle in the main brush and everything is very easy to clean. I already recommended it to a few people and some of them bought it

The Narwal Freo X Ultra is an excellent all-in-one cleaning robot that is both a vacuum and a mop. It is best set up from the mobile app, but once set up, it can also be controlled from the housing base.I'm very impressed with how well this robot cleans my floors and how agile it is navigating obstacles that aren't part of its room map. I've watched this thing pivot around a sock left in the living room! And if it ever sucks up something it shouldn't and gets clogged, it will stop and call for help, then reposition when you release it again to resume the task exactly where it stopped.The setup was fairly easy, though if you're going to have it mop a large space (like your entire main floor) I highly recommend carefully exploring your settings first. When mine finished its mapping, I asked it to go do a full vacuum & mop clean without sectioning off rooms in the map or changing how many cleaning passes or how often it returns to the base to clean itself. Our main floor is 400sq. Ft. less furniture and cabinets, and when it was doing 2+ mop passes and self-cleaning by default settings, it took 1 hour 47 minutes and required a water reservoir change. Now that it is only doing 1 preliminary pass and self-cleaning by room, a full reservoir is enough.

When it reaches the carpet, it raises the pads to not get them damp. It has sensors and it will clean spots on the floor repeatedly until it feels they are clean. Impressive.In terms of the performance of mopping, I have followed it with a clean paper towel to check how clean the floors are, and it does clean them to the point that there’s no dirt left! It leaves the floors slightly damp at the beginning of the mop cycle. Since I have hardwood, I like to wipe it down with a cloth to make sure no moisture sits on the wood. However, as it ends the cycle, it leaves almost no dampness. The really neat thing about this is when it feels the pads are dirty it returns to the base and has a self-cleaning function that truly cleans the pads. It also discards dirty water into the dirty water bin and gathers the new water that it mixes with the cleaning solution by itself.For me, this is a huge time saver because I can have this robot mop all of my floors. The non-wood floors do not have to be dried at all because the dampness is minimal.I am incredibly impressed with this unit, how well it works, how smart it is, and especially how clean it leaves my hard floors.
