Excellent solar portable solar panel kit for camping etc. Planning on buying a solar generator and this solar panel kit will be the perfect addition! Folds up nicely and does not take up much room for storage and transport. Nice carrying handle making it easy to move around when folded. The kickstands that Velcro to back of panels are nice for setting up panels at multiple angles. This puts out 37.4 volts so be sure your device can accept that input. Most small battery packs will not be able to accommodate this voltage.
I really like these fold-able panels. We've had nothing but overcast and rainy days, until last Wednesday. It was still overcast, but the sun was popping through occasionally. I was able to get 325 Watts on a not particularly sunny day. Which for me, is awesome. My new hobby will be grabbing one of these affordable 400 Watt solar panels, every time I get some extra coin. My ideal set-up when complete, will have 10 of these panels producing electricity for my homestead. I highly recommend this solar panel. They're well built, and will last for decades.
Using these panels to recharge my lithium battery on my Motorhome. Getting 350 watts from a Winter morning low angle sun. Best panels I have purchased. Highly recommend
These are very heavy duty. Several different connectors are included. As soon as I put these in sun they were showing 42 volts on meter.
Heavy to lift but better than hooking up multiple panels. Excellent.
So far, I have taken this thing out on a day with slight haziness in the air and was still seeing around 300w charging. I have 390w on the roof and adding this panel array gives me enough wattage to run my microwave without it draining my battery bank. Crazy power for a folding panel, very big and rather heavy though the case is stout and the handle seems very strong which is a very good thing.
These solar panels were a lot bigger than I expected. I used them at the park for a family event. They were pretty simple to hook up and get going. I was worried I would need a lot of direct sunlight, but surprisingly I didn't. I'm very satisfied with these panels. But keep in mind this is my first ever experience with solar panels there For I have nothing to compare it to.
This solar panel is well worth it! Definitely high quality no disappointment on a sunny day we getting 350 watts easily. All Power Solar panels products, customer service, and expediency delivery is superb and well comparable to competitors. In conclusion thank you for an excellent solar we will absolutely purchase more and highly recommend you.
This panel charged my portable battery easily. There is enough output to charge even without direct sunlight. Panels are heavy but still portable. Easily set up and angle adjusts easily with the included legs.
The built in kickstands are a nice feature. You can actually charge a laptop or something similar without hooking into a generator.
The package arrived and it was very well secure inside. No problems. Everything seems to be well made. While the unit is highly portable, I think it would give more benefit if once it arrives, you build a way to hold it and secure it for use. The kick stands on the back of each panel seem secure on a windless day but if you have a gust, it may give way.The connection are very durable and not cheap. The canvas holding everything together seems durable as well and should last a long time. The whole unit seems very weather proof. The power output was substantial on a sunny day reaching almost 400 watts. Usually panels unless sky conditions are perfect will not reach their total rating. Even the most high dollar panels will not do this. But on the first day we got it, there were substantial chem trails in the sky and it still almost got to 400 watts. I would definitely recommend this panel set to anyone wanting an emergency energy supply for medical or freezer reasons.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about these solar panels - except, perhaps, that they're heavy. To be expected with such a powerful system, perhaps, but surprising nonetheless when it arrived. I also ignorantly ordered these, thinking that they could charge my solar power generator (a Powerness Hiker U500), but they actually produce too much power for this station - and have the wrong connector for it :-( As a result I had to test these panels on a friend's bigger charger that had an MC-4 input for those panels and could handle the 400W output from the panels. Lesson learned: read all the specs carefully before you try to mix and match solar & charging equipment! The panels were a breeze to setup - as the product page indicates, they even have adjustable stands so you can more easily optimize the solar impact (i.e. make the panels perpendicular to the sun) - and charging is pretty quick on a sunny day - when I observed about 380W output. On a cloudy day, with the output only at 130-150W, it will take significantly longer (all also dependent on the size of your battery, of course :-)Very happy with this item - can't wait to take it on its intended purpose: a stay in Newfoundland in our new off-grid cabin.
I got these for our camping trailer to be able to dry camp in the mountains. This is very well made and comes with extra cables to run this in parallel with another set of solar panels if you wish. It all folds up and has sturdy snaps that keep the support legs in place when stowed and also on the strap that keeps it all together when folded. The carrying case is nice but the handle stitching pulled a little and separated when I went to pick up the entire kit. Like I said before, these are portable for some but most would struggle carry this because of its weight and size. The handle is my only complaint of this great set of 400watt solar panels. I plan on setting it up with a Solar controller with my camp trailer.
I purchased this when I picked up a Bluetti AC 200 Max. This was way cheaper than the Bluetti panels and it's worked awesome with it. It pulls over 300 Watts consistently. I have a screen shot showing low 300's power coming in, but that was later evening sun. It's a little heavy but manageable. It there is a weakness it's the legs that support the cells. It works and will probably be fine, but there's no adjustment for angels and stuff. It's good overall and I'd recommend it especially when it's on special and it seems to have coupons regularly.
I recently purchased this solar panel and I am extremely happy with its performance. As a full-time RVer, I needed something to offset my lways on electronics and this solar panel has been perfect for that. Even though it's a little heavy, the handle seems solid for carrying. I pleased with the amount of power it has produced so far. On a sunny day, it peaked at 397 watts for a few minutes, which is very impressive. On a regular day, it produces a steady 130-150 watts, which is more than enough for my needs. One thing I would mention is that it feels a little fragile, so be careful when handling it. This is because the solar panels are not flexible, so if you were to drop it while carrying it to set up, you could potentially damage it. Also, due to its size and weight, wind can easily take it and flip it/flatten it, so be careful about what you put underneath it or around it as well as the terrain it on.
Works well and produces good power, connecting is easy with the supplied cables.
These are some large and heavy panels. The straps that hold them folded have low profile clasps which seem light duty but so far I haven had any issues with them. The handle is well placed.Power collection and output is excellent and is as claimed. This is not a tiny solar panel to charge small devices - in fact your charge controller will have to be able to handle a significantly higher voltage than even the 100 watt panels provide. The zippered storage on the back does a good job helping to store and keep safe the necessary cables to connect the panel to the charge controller
I go camping often and have a little electric generator/power bank and I was able to connect the solar panels directly to the electric generator and it charged the 300W generator very quick on a super sunny day!
Make sure to purchase a transformer to be able to use your devices these panels are awesome light weight heavy duty and charge well I use them for camping and the backyard cook out for lights radio and dj equipment
