This is a great meter for the price! Like the well lit display and the fact it glows red when something is detected. Seems to work well and is accurate.
Used this to check voltage, and works well. Has alot of bells and whistles for future jobs, and seems pretty accurate. Update. Just fixed my car, and had to change the MAF. The voltage for a MAF is where I found out it was still good. This has paid for itself. 5 star update.
This clamp meter works exactly as intended. It is very convenient that there are multiple ways to use this tool to ensure you get the information you need. I am replacing my existing meter with this one because it does so much more. I would definitely recommend this product.
This is a great tool for the price. I have always been a fan and owner of Fluke instruments which are quite a bit more expensive.For what I use this for it is fantastic.
This meter includes all needed functions, and measures DC current from the clamp via a Hall Effect device. This works great for auto, truck, ATV, boat service. My buddy had a boat and we were on the lake and he had told me earlier that the battery would go dead after time, so I took my DC clamp meter with us. We ran around the lake and fully charged the battery, he shut down the engine (V8) and I measured the battery drain and found the alternator was leaking current through a bad rectifier diode inside it. Later we installed a new rectifier pack in his alternator and no more battery failure. Good quality and easy to read.
Great little meter for all you need around the house. DIY auto read is very nice.
nice unit for the homeowner/RVer. Readings are accurate and the unit is sturdy especially when you consider the price. Not a Fluke but not the price either
It works, but the thermometer is not accurate. Try different thermocouple leads same thing. Compare with a digital thermometer off a bit.Everything else works.
Easy to use and helped diagnose an issue quickly.I have 18 foot tall work garage and had an issue with an outside outlet. I was able to use this to locate the problem very fast and since the issue was at the rafters it helped to pinpoint this on the ladder in seconds.I am very happy with this productThe issue ended up being in the junction box at the top rafter. Clamp meter appears to works fine (can't test it against anything), supplied test leads aren't the greatest things I've ever used but they do work, and temperature probe is a cool feature that I didn't even realize this would do!All in all it's a great product for its price
I needed this multi meter to check a battery problem on my car. Just used it and it works pretty well. Saved me from buying a new battery because it was a connection issue. Its worth spending a little extra to get the the clamp version because of how convenient it is. The clamping mechanism on this one is much better than my last one and it seems much more durable.
Very pleased with this meter. I do large car audio systems and had an issue with one of 5 300 amp fuses consistently blowing. After getting this meter I was able to discover that on the battery side of the fuse the factory wiring has an intake heater that was pulling 200 amps of current. That combined with the demands of the audio system popped the fuse. Very handy tool great value.

Product worked for one day then Amp clamp stopped reading dc amps.
