Mecpow X5 22W Laser + Rotary Roller + Laser Bed + Fireproof Enclosure

Delivery splitted into 2 deliveries. First delivery (cutter, rotary tool and honeycumb) delivered withing 4 days. Very fast! Still waiting for the cover to arrive... Good build quality however alls screws are Philips. I prefer hexnut screws for these machines. Printer is pretty fast and accurate. Things that could be improved: 1) when using the rotary tool you must unscrew and remove the the stepper cover to get access to the second Y-axis plug. 2) Laser cooling fans make a lot of noise and are always ON!!! They should only be on when laser is cutting or engraving and have a 60 second cooldown period when cutting is finished. No need to be blowing when cutter is in idle. Conclusion: worth every penny spend!!!

Pro's: - solid build quality - fast delivery. - all metal parts, assembly was easy and fast. - worksa charm, integration with lightburn is great - air assist is not too loud and looksa good quality pump rather than an aquarium hack. - can handle really fast speeds while keeping the lines smooth. - looks pretty professional, the the safety stop is really useful and you can move the control box outside the enclosure real easily. Cons: - removing / cleaning the lens could be a bit more user friendly- putting back the air assist hose always needs help from from a screwdriver and generally takes 5 to 10minutes. but it also stays clean quite long - no inbuilt ways to control the angle of the laser head - used some shims to get it at 90 degrees with the bed. - game with a slight wobble where i needed to tightend the concentric bearings (not explained in the manual) overall, the cons are minor and solved fairly fast. been a super smooth experience.
