I bought the KUGOO G5 for my son and he loves it. It's a great way for him to get around the neighborhood.
When you open the box and take it out, you can tell it is very sturdy and well built. It has all the essential features such as a headlight, a horn and three speed settings. The handles could be folded to save space in storage or during transportation.I find that the accelerator button and the brake button are very responsive, just like those on a car, e.g. the harder you press on the accelerator, the faster it goes. They are not just a on/off switches. The battery seems to be very efficient too. After it was fully charged, we rode it for almost two hours and the battery indicator still shows a full charge. I tested the torque of the motor by going up a slope, and it did not seem to slow it down. With "3" speed selected, it could go up to 18mph, and it took it very short amount of time to accelerate to its full speed. The only problem I had with this scooter was the first time when we used it. It was set at the non-start state, so whatever button we pressed, it would not move. We had to spend some time to go through the menu and understand how to toggle the setting. I am not sure if it was for safety purposes during transportation, but if they are all shipped in like that, a big note is needed to tell people how to make it move the first time.
I've had my KUGOO G5 for a few months now and it's been a great investment. I use it to commute to work and it's saved me so much time and money.
